Methodology
The training will be as much interactive as possible: having participants coming from different parts of the World the course will take advantage of this by giving space to the active involvement of the participants at every stage. Both formal and non-formal education methods will be used, combining short theoretical presentations of key-concepts on photography and multiculturalism with practical exercises and outdoor activities in Lisbon downtown.
The methodology will be based on the “peer to peer approach” where participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and images, discuss ideas and compare different point of view in a comfortable and informal environment where everyone will feel valorized and respected.
Before the participants arrival to Lisbon, some texts and images will be uploaded to an online platform promoting the share of thoughts and ideas among all. Both participants and trainers will upload these images, becoming part of this community.
At the end of the training, a final online exhibition will be prepared by the participants, using their own images, allowing them to express themselves within the training theme.
